The Zimbabwe Kickboxing Association (ZKA) is set to send four kickboxers to tournaments set for Walvis Bay in Namibia on the 7th of this month.

6 countries South Africa, Angola, Reunion, Cameroon, Zimbabwe and the hosts Namibia will tussle it out in the desert storm international world title and sub Saharan title tournaments.

Zimbabwe’s team of 4 kickboxers is set to leave this Wednesday.

These are Manicaland based duo of Trymore Kamota and Knowledge Nyamhoka Jr, and Innocent Kanopupa and Walter Chiteto both from Harare.

ZKA president Tony Kamangira said the sport has reached a stage where local kickboxers should now be showcased to the rest of the world.

While indicating that the Leg Hunters as the Zimbabwe team is affectionately known, was selected using results of previously held tournaments, Kamangira stressed that the side is ready to do battle after receiving adequate preparations.
