As the Zanu PF party in Bulawayo prepares for primary elections this Sunday, three incumbent members of the House of Assembly have been barred from contesting.
Cde Killion Sibanda of Nkulumane, Cde Ntandoyenkosi Mlilo of Luveve and Cde Godfrey Malaba of Phumula will not be contesting in the primaries following the vetting process.
The news was revealed during the Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting.
Addressing the gathering, provincial secretary for administration Cde Elifasi Mashaba called on candidates to follow the laid down regulations and ensure that the process is credible.
Zanu PF is going for primary elections this Sunday after which a full throttle campaign will be launched as the party engages the electorate to try and win the forthcoming national election.
The party is also confident it will claim all the seats in Bulawayo.
