22 teams square off in the Netball Super League (NSL) play offs set for the Stodart Complex in Mbare this weekend.

It is a do or die for the competing teams as they fight for elevation into the super league.

The 22 teams which have been drawn from the country’s 10 provinces will battle out for the top honours this weekend with the four teams on the top automatically qualifying for the national league.

Zimbabwe Netball Association president Leticia Chipandu confirmed that all is set for the prestigious tournament.

Chipandu also highlighted that the weekend games will be used to revive some teams which have for sometime lost glory such as Shamva Mine and at the same time introduce new challengers into the national league.

Some of the teams which are set to play on Saturday and Sunday include Lupane University, Nyanga Queens, Bindura University, Yadah Queens, TelOne Queens and Eiffel Flats Queens.

The four teams which impress will enter the national league and battle with seasoned teams such as Correctional Services Queens, Harare City and Glow Petroleum among others.
