Gems geared up for African Championships

The Zimbabwe netball Gems who are in camp preparing for the 2018 African Championships to be held in Lusaka, Zambia are hoping to emulate the 2015 team which became African champions after easing past Tanzania in their final round-robin match at the Botswana netball courts. Society has been urged to seek divine intervention in times of tribulations in order to create harmony among humankind. The Jehovah’s Witnesses Chinhoyi district recently convened a conference where the focus was on inculcating a sense of hope among pilgrims even in the face of tribulations. The convention’s theme, “Be Courageous”, pointed to a desire by the church to have members who face reality and tackle problems rather than easily break when faced with challenges. The newly elected House of Assembly member for Zvishavane Ngezi constituency Dumezweni Mawite held a road show to celebrate his victory as well as thank the Zvishavane community for believing in the Zanu PF party and its First Secretary, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa.
