VP Mohadi’s brother Stephen buried

Vice President Kembo Mohadi’s young brother Stephen who was awarded a liberation war hero status has been buried at his home village in Mtetengwe. Hundreds of mourners turned out at Mtetengwe village in Beitbridge for the final send off of the late liberation war hero. Cde Stephen Mohadi was buried with full military honours at the family’s homestead. Minister of State for Provincial Affairs in Matabeleland South Province Abednigo Ncube paid tribute to the late for his role as a citizen saying government stands with the Mohadi family in their time of grieving. The late Cde Stephen Mohadi was born on January 13, 1960 in Beitbridge. He did his education there until he went to the liberation struggle at the age of 17. MDC Alliance National Assembly candidate for Bulawayo South constituency Engineer Francis Mangwendeza says his formation is ready to bring about transformation in the City of Kings. Engineer Mangwendeza held two rallies in Bulawayo South constituency today first at BG Hall in Southworld and later at Tshabalala Hall. 645 000 households in Matabeleland South Province are expected to benefit from the Presidential Inputs Support Programme amid calls for farmers to play their part in ensuring a successful summer cropping season.
