Harare Hospital equipped with new machinery

Harare Central Hospital has received hospital equipment worth $1.5 million from the government of United Arab Emirates (UAE). The equipment donated by the UAE government supported by some donor agencies in that country include two foetal monitor ctg machines, surgical operation table, five infant incubators, two ecg machines for testing the heart  and two infant resuscitation machines. Major boost for Commander AFZ Charity Fund

Captains of industry and companies have pledged to continuously support the Commander Air Force of Zimbabwe Charity Fund which seeks to assist less privileged communities across the country. Captains of industry and companies have promised to give a hand in cash and kind to the Commander AFZ’s Charity Fund which helps less privileged communities by fostering development through construction of schools, clinics and vocational training centers. Addressing the audience during a fundraising dinner in Harare, NetOne chief executive officer Mr Lazarus Muchenje said they have donated $30 000 for the construction of Murongwe Secondary School in Mashonaland Central to make sure that social economic development projects also reach less privileged communities. “Even though the business environment is not favourable in the country we will make that we enhance the AFZ’s vision,” he said. Commander AFZ Air Marshal Elson Moyo said when societies face many problems their distress might end up causing instabilities and conflicts due inadequate resources. “We are appealing for more support so that we transform the lives of the disadvantaged communities,” said Air Marshal Moyo.
