Zimbabwe and China have signed three multi-million dollar worth of agreements and part of the money is for the expansion and refurbishment of the Robert Mugabe International Airport in Harare.

The agreements were signed between Finance and Economic Planning Minister, Cde Patrick Chinamasa and the Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Huang Ping in Harare this Wednesday.

The other two agreements are for grants worth $60.48 million for a new parliament building and for the expansion of a computing centre at the University of Zimbabwe.

Speaking after the signing ceremony, the Chinese Ambassador pledged to continue supporting Zimbabwe.
