All set for ZRU special general meeting

The Zimbabwe Rugby Union (ZRU) will tomorrow hold a special general meeting where an interim leadership will be voted for at Prince Edward School. In line with the ZRU statutes chief executive officer Blessing Chiutare said all is in place for Saturday’s meeting. Pres Mnangagwa meets Mash West leadership

The Zanu PF Mashonaland West leadership briefly met President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa today soon after the Chinhoyi University of Technology graduation ceremony. According to Minister of State for Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs Cde Webster Shamu, President Mnangagwa reiterated his earlier position that there be no retribution in the new political dispensation, and called on Zimbabweans to work together. 249 ZPCS officers promoted

The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa has promoted 259 Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) officers ranging from the rank of commissioner to  principal correctional officers. A total of 55 graduands were conferred with certificates and diplomas in defence and security and in adult education at a graduation ceremony held at the Zimbabwe Staff College today. Farm produce prices decline

Prices of most farm produce at Mbare musika vegetable market are on a downward trend with tomatoes, mazhanje, watermelons and mangoes flooding the market at the onset of the rainy season. Farmers and traders who spoke to the ZBC News said the rains have led to flooding of the market with some seasonal crops like vegetables and fruits causing their prices to go down. The Municipality of Gwanda has been commended for being the first local authority to have a disability inclusion policy.
