Desist from purging members: SK Moyo

Zanu PF has warned provinces to desist from purging some members from the ruling party. Some Zanu PF Provinces have been convening provincial executive council meetings or provincial coordinating committee meetings to remove some members from the party without being sanctioned by the Zanu PF leadership. Zanu PF spokesperson Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo warned provincial members to desist from the purge or face disciplinary action. Residents of Harare’s Avondale area have called on the city council to address several challenges which they are facing particularly with regards to water provision. Mat North records 20% decline in mass drug admin

Matabeleland North Province has recorded a 25 percent decline on the 6th mass drug administration outreach for neglected tropical diseases compared to the programme conducted last year. Coverage in the six districts under this programme dropped from 80 percent recorded last year to 55 percent this year, a figure which is 20 percent below the World Health Organisation target of 75 percent.
