A local female musician and film maker, Sarah Dhliwayo Nkala is urging upcoming musicians to come up with productions that highlight issues on early child marriages and drug abuse.

Nkala, who will launch her forthcoming live DVD album live in concert this Saturday in Harare, said she is encouraging the girl child and other youths to abstain from drugs through the message in some of her productions.

She said youths should take part in artistic productions such as film and book writing as a way of conveying their messages through the arts.

Nkala and a number of other female musicians have already released five albums and these are: Sokalami, Question Mark, Ndichakuda, Hamusati Maona and Chapitika.
