900 officials undergo BVR training in Manicaland

More than 900 officials have undergone the biometric voter registration (BVR) training programme in Manicaland Province as the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) prepares for the 2018 harmonised elections. Cottco commences seed disbursement

The Cotton Company of Zimbabwe (Cottco) has started the distribution of cotton seed to strategic points before the actual programmes roar into life this month. Last season over 4 000 tonnes of cotton seed were distributed to growers in the country’s cotton greenbelts. Cottco acting managing director Mr Pious Manamike sai the company is working hard to ensure the disbursement of seeds starts early to ensure maximum yields.
