The SADC Council of Ministers meeting has opened in Pretoria, South Africa ahead of the 37th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government amid huge expectation from Zimbabwe regarding the implementation of the industrialisation agenda and road map. Water harvesting to reduce water scarcity

The government is working on a national programme to promote the concept of roof top water harvesting to reduce the huge run-off experienced during the rainy seasons while easing demand for water from the traditional water sources.
