Zim delegation tours Nyadzonia, Chimoio

Zimbabwean delegation has toured the Nyangau Shrine in Beira, Mozambique, Nyadzonia and Chimoio to reconnect with the liberation struggle. A number of fallen freedom fighters succumbed during the height of the liberation struggle. Foreign tourists dominate hospitality sector profits

Foreign tourists are dominating Zimbabwe’s hospitality sector earnings with projections of a 60 percent rise in revenue streams by year end. The dominance of earnings from the foreign tourist arrivals is an indication Zimbabwe is a viable and safe portfolio for tourism and hospitality services, said African Sun Limited group chief executive officer, Mr Edwin Shangwa. “There is need to consolidate the earnings on the back of the rise from the foreign tourist arrivals,” he said. Namibian Ambassador lauds command agric

Namibian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mrs Balbina Daes Pienaar has saluted the command agriculture programme for transforming the lives of many people in the country. She described the food security cluster as espoused in the country’s economic blue print ZIM ASSET as a vehicle for increasing food self sufficiency. IDBZ gets US$20 mn capital injection

The government has since January injected US$20 million fresh capital in the Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe (IDBZ) to enhance its capacity in undertaking several projects across the country. Recapitalisation of the IDBZ is being considered an important element that can create growth opportunities.
