The Zimbabwe Film and Television School of Southern Africa (ZIFTESSA) has hailed the positive response and zeal by aspiring and established content creators in Victoria Falls who are taking part in the ongoing four day filmmaking workshop under the ZimDigital project.

The workshop being held at Mosi-Oa-Tunya High is aimed at equipping the participants with relevant skills and to empower them to create content for digital platforms.

ZIFTESSA director, Dr Rino Zhuwarara said the response from the Victoria Falls community has been positive and is upbeat the progamme will produce favourable results.

He said this will enable the participants to play a critical role in promoting the country’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.

The aspiring content creators are being trained on five critical areas namely, script writing, producing, directing, cinematography and editing.

Participants are set to be shortlisted and are expected to act as resource persons or service providers for the ZimDigital content creation initiatives.
