The International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman, Shashank Manohar today paid a courtesy call on Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko at his Munhumutapa offices.

Manohar is in the country for a five-day official visit and today met Cde Mphoko at his Munhumutapa offices in the company of Sport and Recreation Minister Makhosini Hlongwane.

A closed door meeting was held and the ICC chairman, who was accompanied by his wife, Vaisha Manohar said they had a constructive meeting which will help to develop the game in Zimbabwe.

The ICC chairman said he is confident that Zimbabwe will do well in the 2018 cricket qualifiers ahead of the World Cup in 2019.
