The Local Government Investment Conference opens in Harare this Monday (tomorrow) with a number of private players expected to grace the event with a view to partner local authorities in improving service delivery.
The chairperson of Local Government Investment Conference, Councilor Tsungai Makore said this year’s conference is aimed at creating an enabling environment for business.

The conference which is opening this Monday has attracted a number of private players.
This is the second Local Government Investment Conference since its establishment last year.

Some of the issues expected to be tabled during the conference are programmes such as the smart water meters, sewer systems and private players partnerships with local authorities.
