Dynamos inflicted revenge on Black Rhinos after registering a 1-nil victory over the army men in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon. It was sweet victory for Dynamos who turned the tables with a win over Black Rhinos. Sibanda scoops ITF junior tennis crown

Mehluli Sibanda overcame Emile Hudd of Great Britain in straight sets to win the first leg of the ITF tennis 18 and under final tournament at Harare Sports Club today. Sibanda showed mental toughness in the first set which went to a tie break before dominating in the second set with a commanding 6-1 win. The 7-6, 6-1 victory capped off a remarkable week for Sibanda who will now be looking forward to the second leg. The much touted Busy Signal Bulawayo show ended prematurely before the Jamaican artist could take the stage after some hooligans threw missiles onto the performance stage following protests by Winky D over poor sound system. Cde Mnangagwa salutes ICRISAT

Acting President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa has hailed the services being offered by the International Crop Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) and revealed government shall soon be partnering the institution in its command agriculture programme. Thousands of Roman Catholics from the Archdiocese of Harare converged at St Paul’s Musami Mission in Mrewa to witness the ordination of 9 members of the church into priesthood. It was thrills and spills at Mubaira growth point as 20 rural schools competed in soccer, netball and volleyball with Chomuchena Secondary School lifting the soccer trophy after a 1-nil win over Chirundazi in the final.
