President Robert Mugabe and his Namibian counterpart Dr Hage Geingob this Friday (today) toured various stands exhibiting at the ZITF.
The two leaders first called local producers of tiles, before visiting the Grain Marketing Board, the national custodian of strategic grain reserves.
The two heads of state then toured exhibitors in hall 4 starting with the country’s export body ZimTrade whose theme this year is “Building Linkages for Export Growth”.
They also visited other companies with different product portfolios as well as embassies which included Kenya and Japan.
While regional countries are also exhibiting at the ZITF the two heads of state took time to visit South African and Botswana companies.
A special stop was made at the Namibian stand where a number of products were on display including tinned fish.
The president then walked his counterpart through hall four where the ruling Zanu PF part is exhibiting.
The Presidential party then moved to the produce and home industries section where a variety of crops including small grains are on display.
The final destination of the tour was the Alpha and Omega Dairy which is run by the First Family.
