The Chartered Institute of Project Managers Zimbabwe (CIPMZ) will next week host a public private partnership (PPP) conference with a view to encourage the adoption of the policy framework for economic transformation.
The implementation of the PPPs and the joint venture policy seems to be yielding positive results in the agriculture and manufacturing sectors.
In a bid to keep the momentum stakeholders are mulling the hosting of a PPP conference to review progress and successes in some of the projects being implemented under the policy framework.
CIPMZ executive director Mr Proctor Nyemba said the conference will focus on key areas that require attention especially in the infrastructure development.
The PPP conference is in line with government initiatives and state owned firms have been challenged to explore such initiatives to reduce their dependency syndrome to the fiscus.
