FC Platinum, who finished second in last year’s PSL log standings, will be hoping to get off to an explosive start when they travel to Harare for a showdown with police outfit, Black Mambas.

 

While the platinum miners will be hoping to begin on a bright note, Black Mambas will be hoping to utilise home advantage and upstage Kugona Kunenge Kudada.

In another interesting duel set for this Saturday, Chicken Inn host Gunners at Luveve Stadium.

Last year, Gunners performed a miraculous act when Moses Chunga arrived from Caps United and guided them from the relegation murky waters to finish on 5th position.

Chando Kupisa would be aiming for a good start when they clash with Chicken Inn who managed a top 8 finish in their debut season in the topflight.

In another interesting match slated for this Saturday, 2010 premiership champions Motor Action host newboys Harare City at Motor Action Sports Club.

Despite losing the services of key players such as Edmore Chitato and Allan Gahadzikwa, the Mighty Bulls lock horns with City who have vowed to hold their own among the premiership football.

In Saturday’s other encounter, Hwange lock horns with debutants Quelaton at the Colliery.

Premiership action will continue on Sunday with traditional giants Dynamos, Highlanders and Caps United all taking to the field.

 

Reigning league champions, DeMbare host Hardbody at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday, with the blue and white faithfuls hoping to witness more goals from their new found hero, Takesure Chinyama.

With Highlanders supporters starved of premiership glory in recent years, Bosso will be hoping to brush aside Blue Rangers at Barbourfields stadium.

Despite not capturing big names in the offseason, the Bulawayo giants still appear to be good enough for a new look Rangers outfit and are tipped to start the new season with maximum points.
