The 2011 edition of the Netball Super League explodes into life this weekend with an expected thriller on the cards as defending champions, Railstars, battle perennial contenders ZDF Queens, in a league opener at Harare’s Raylton Sports Club.

While the champions will be away, league runners up Nehanda Nyakasikana will be at home against newly promoted City of Mutare at the Prisons Grounds.

At Reserve Bank Sports Club, Renaissance will face Chaminuka with Harare districts locking horns with Rushinga.

Stanbic Bank have a seemingly easy start hosting league debutants Mambas Queens at KGIV.

Belvedere will host two exciting fixtures – the first pitting Rainbow Towers and ZRP Bindura, with City of Harare clashing with Harvest

Queens later on.

The remaining two fixtures will be played outside Harare with Chinhoyi Queens playing Shamva Mine, while Mutare’s Tennets host Dzivaresekwa’s Jazeera Queens in Mutare.

All matches will be played on Saturday 2pm.
