2 074 graduands have received certificates and diplomas after completing their studies at the Harare Polytechnic College.

1 167 male and 907 female Harare Poly graduands received certificates and diplomas during a graduation ceremony held at the institution this Thursday (today).

Some of the graduands who spoke to the ZBC News said now is the time to go and put into practice what they were taught.

The principal at Harare Polytechnic, Engineer Tafadzwa Mudondo said as an institution they have managed to employ and deploy institutional resources in ways that  bring both tangible and intangible benefits.

The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development’s thrust is to equip students with life skills said guest of honour Professor Jonathan Moyo.

Harare Polytechnic is one of the tertiary institutions in Zimbabwe that has responded positively to the demands of technical and vocational education training.
