The visiting Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi has since left Harare back to his country.

After a fruitful two day official visit which saw the signing of a number of bilateral agreements between Zimbabwe and Botswana, President Masisi was seen off the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Vice President Retired General Dr Constantino Chiwenga, several ministers including Ministers of Defence and War Veterans Affairs, Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Retired Lieutenant General Dr Sibusiso Moyo, State Security Owen Ncube, Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Ambassador Cain Mathema and others, service chiefs and top government officials. The visit by President Masisi was marked by the inaugural session of the Bi-nation Commission Summit between the two nations – a landmark development for the new dispensation in its efforts for re-engagement on the regional, continental and international community
